One Mission.

One Goal.

One Team.

We are tasked to express the vision given to our pastor and our church. We are not here to promote ourselves, but to promote the kingdom of God. In doing so, we must put others first. We want to stand strong in knowing that what we express on stage is going to have a positive impact on any person coming through our doors. We are not here to distract. We are not here to offend. We are not here to be in the spot-light. We are here to be an addition and aid to the worship, teaching, and preaching in our church. Our goal is to lead, inspire, and advance the teachings of Jesus.

WHAT WE EXPECT.

I will share the responsibility of the church:

By praying for its growth - "To the church...we always thank God for you and pray for you constantly" (1 Thessalonians 1:2). By inviting people to attend - "Go out into the country... and urge anyone you find to come in, so that My House will be full" (Luke 14:23, LB). By Warmly welcoming guests - "So warmly welcome each other into the church, just as Christ has warmly welcomed you; then God will be glorified" (Romans 15:7).

I will serve the ministry of my church:

By having a servants heart - "Each of you should look not only to your own interests, but also to the interests of others. Your attitude should be the same as that of Jesus Christ...who took on the very nature of a servant..." (Philippians 2:3-4, 7). By having a dedication to excellence in all things - "Whatever you do, work at it with all of you heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters, since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward. It is the Lord Christ you are serving" (Colossians 3:23-24). By discovering my gifts and talents - "Serve one another with the particular gifts God has given each of you..." (1 Peter 4:10).

I will support the testimony of my church:

By attending church and small groups faithfully - "They devoted themselves to the apostles' teaching and to the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer" (Acts 2:42). By living a godly life above reproach - "But whatever happens, make sure that your everyday life is worthy of the gospel of Christ" (Philippians 1:27, Phillips). By tithing and giving regularly - "Each one of you, on the first day of each week, should set aside a specific sum of money in proportion to what you have earned and use it for the offering" 1 Corinthians 16:2).

I will protect the unity of my church:

By not talking negatively about anyone and refusing to gossip - "Let no unwholesome word proceed from your mouth, but only such a word as is good for edification according to the need of the moment, so that it will give grace to those who hear" (Ephesians 4:29, NASB). By following my leaders - "Obey your leaders and submit to their authority. They keep watch over you as men who must give an account. Obey them so that their work will be a joy, not a burden, for that would be no advantage to you" (Hebrews 13:17). By confronting others when needed - "If a brother or sister sins, go and point out the fault, just between the two of you. If they listen to you, you have won them over" (Matthew 18:15).
