Since 2006, we have striven to connect people on a deeper level with Jesus Christ.

Core Values

UNITY

“How wonderful and pleasant it is when brothers live together in harmony!”

— PSALM 133:1

Unity is the quality of being fused into one. At GPC, we practice a team approach to ministry, problem solving, and decision-making, while operating within the integrity of our structure at all times. Relationships are first priority, and we deal with disagreements and offenses in a timely and Biblical manner.

GENEROSITY

“Whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, but whoever sows generously will also reap generously.”

— 2 CORINTHIANS 9:6

Generosity is the quality of being kind, understanding, and unselfish, especially regarding a willingness to give away valuable possessions or money. We are committed to seeking out opportunities to generously share what God has so generously given us.

SERVING

“Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms.”

— 1 PETER 4:10

God has called us to demonstrate an attitude of servanthood; therefore the functions of administration are to serve and facilitate ministry. Policies exist to enable ministry to function with effective and predictable results.

EXCELLENCE

“Whatever your hand finds to do, do it with all your might.”

— ECCLESIASTES 9:10

Excellence is doing the very best with what you have. We are committed to giving careful attention to every task we carry out, no matter the size. Our excellence is guided by our desire to show Christ’s love in each detail, whether task or relationally driven.

SCRIPTURE CENTERED

“All scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting, and training in righteousness, so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.”

— 2 TIMOTHY 3:16-17

We are committed to being fully grounded in scripture and fully empowered by the Holy Spirit.  The Bible is our final authority, and the Holy Spirit guides and helps us fulfill God’s destiny for us as a church.

Our Beliefs

There is
One God

The Father is the ground and source of all things; in the Son, he is made manifest to the world, and as the Holy Ghost, he dwells in men.

Deuteronomy 6:4, Genesis 1:1, 1 Timothy 3:16, John 14:17-18

The Bible

The Bible is the inspired and only infallible and authoritative written Word of God.

2 Timothy 3:16, Ephesians 3:5, 2 Peter 3:2

Salvation

Salvation for mankind is provided only through the efficacious, shed blood of Jesus Christ. Salvation is the gift of God . When one accepts the message of Christ by faith, they will be “obedient to the faith.” This “obedience of faith” is what the believer does in appropriating the fullness of Christ’s death, burial, and resurrection.

Hebrews 5:12 & 26, Ephesians 2:8, Romans 1:5, Acts 6:7, Romans 16:26

Christ's Death

Christ died for our sins and we “die to the old life” through repentance.

2 Corinthians 5:17

Christ was buried and we are buried through Him in water baptism.

Romans 6:4

Christ was resurrected and we are resurrected with Him through the infilling of the Holy Spirit. The Apostle Peter explained this at the birthday of the church.

Romans 6:4 & 8:11, 1 Corinthians 15:45, Acts 2:38

Christ's Name

The authority of God is vested in the Name of Jesus. All that the believer does “in word or deed” is to be done in Jesus’ Name (Colossians 3:17). The Name of Jesus becomes our new “family name,” replacing the old family name of “Adam.” The authority of the Godhead is vested in the Name of Jesus!

Philippians 2:9-10, Matthew 7:22, Mark 16:7, John 14:14, Acts 4:12, Romans 6:4, 1 Corinthians 1:12-15 & 15:45-50, 2 Corinthians 5:17

Christ's Return

Jesus Christ will return to the earth to catch the church away, and shall, after a short time, return to set up His kingdom on earth.

1 Thessalonians 4:16-17, Revelation 19:11-16, Matthew 24:29-31

Our Vision

EXPERIENCE GOD

Our weekend worship experience is best described as Christ focused, scripture centered, and family friendly. We want you to take your worship experience to the next level: not just corporately, but personally. That is why we desire that you experience God through:

  • An authentic relationship with Jesus

  • Personal expressions of God centered worship

  • interaction with other Christ followers

GROW TOGETHER

Grace Pointe is not just another church. We are a community of believers. As Christ followers, the Lord calls us to live out our lives in the context of the local church. Paul expressed this in Romans 12:4 when he wrote, “ For as we have many members in one body, but all the members do not have the same function, so we, being many, are one body in Christ, and individually members of one another. Having then gifts differing according to the grace that is given to us, let us use them: if prophecy, let us prophesy in proportion to our faith; or ministry, let us use it in our ministering; he who teaches, in teaching; he who exhorts, in exhortation; he who gives, with liberality; he who leads, with diligence; he who shows mercy, with cheerfulness.” (NKJV).

FIND YOUR PURPOSE

Our desire is that you take a step towards understanding how your uniquely designed personality, coupled with the spiritual gifts God has given you, help reveal a path to you pursuing a fulfilling life in Christ. 1 Corinthians 12: 4-10 (NKJV) says, “There are diversities of gifts, but the same Spirit. There are differences of ministries, but the same Lord. And there are diversities of activities, but it is the same God who works all in all. But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to each one for the profit of all: for to one is given the word of wisdom through the Spirit, to another the word of knowledge through the same Spirit, to another faith by the same Spirit, to another gifts of healings by the same Spirit, to another the working of miracles, to another prophecy, to another discerning of spirits, to another different kinds of tongues, to another the interpretation of tongues.”

CHANGE THE WORLD

At Grace Pointe, God has not called us to build small ministries, but to be leaders of a movement. We believe that this happens through being a part of strong ministry teams, reaching out to our community, and partnering together. By doing this, together we can change the world.
